What this converter does

PDFs and Word documents cannot be turned into a spreadsheet here. A PDF stores a fixed page layout, not the rows and columns a spreadsheet is made of, so there is nothing reliable to recover. To turn one of those into a PDF instead, use the PDF converter.

Which file formats can I convert to Excel?
CSV, ODS, XLS and XLSX files convert to .xlsx. PDF and Word documents are not supported, because a page layout does not carry the row and column structure a spreadsheet needs.
Is there a file size limit?
Yes. Uploads are limited to 20 MB per file.
What happens to my files?
The file you upload is deleted as soon as the conversion finishes, and the converted file is deleted once your download completes. Neither is kept on the server.
